Clarity Stamps Challenge 22 Trees

Hi everyone, this is my card for challenge 22, which I nade to give to my husband for our wedding anniversary.
I made this by embossing with Versamark and copper powder through the stencil to get the tree. I drew the hearts hanging from the branches, coloured them red and filled them with glossy accents.
I then used a cloud mask to do the sky with Tumbled Glass, and a torn paper hills to do the grassy foreground.
I used random letters from the sets I have to spell out anniversary, as I don't have the real one. finally I added a squirrel and the two birds.
Thanks for looking and Happy New Year.

Clarity Challenge 14 - Monochrome

Here is my entry for this months Clarity Blog Challenge. Trying to have a quick last craft before going back to work at school tomorrow.

I took my white piece of Theuva card, cut it to size and used paper as a mask to create the rectangular panel.

Firstly, I stamped the text, form the Journaling Set, in Memento Lulu Lavender, into the open space to give a background.  I then used the same ink and a Clarity brush to dust and highlight the edges of the space.

Next, I stamped the 2 foxgloves over the panel in Versafine Imperial Purple and embossed them with clear powder.

I stamped the sentiment to the side, again using Imperial Purple and embossing powder.

I highlighted the foxglove flowers with a paintbrush using Dusty Concord, Lulu Lavender, with a hint of Lilac Roses and a spritz of water.  Did the same to the leaves but just with a hint of Lavender.

For the background mount I stamped the text around the edges of a blank white card in Lulu Lavender again and dusted around the edges with a brush in the same colour, then mounting the picture on top.

Finally added some lilac Twinkle Goosebumps in the corners.

Hope you like the card and thank you for looking.

Lavinia Stamps Challenge 4 - Spring Colours

Hi this is my offering for the Lavinia Stamps Blog Challenge.

Managed to squeeze in some crafting time today and wanted to play with my Gelli plate.
Laid down some pistachio green acrylic let it dry then put some lilac on.
After that dabbed it with a stencil and bubble wrap then put a space maker in the middle before pulling a print.
It didn't quite come out how I was hoping but hey ho, I still like it- particularly where the outside edges aren't perfect.
Carried on anyway, stamped my fairy in black archival then the zen tree. I added the scenery using Lettuce, Stonewashed and Mustard Seed.
Added the different size Zen Rose stamp because my fairy is sprinkling magic fairy dust to make the plants grow!
Coloured the tree and rose with promarkers because I had embossed the archival ink with clear embossing powder.
Added Glamour dust to the fairy's wings.
Used a swirl stencil to add some interest to the gelli background with some gold jelly pen dots.
Finally dusted the edges with some pale pink and gold inks before mounting on black then a faintly patterned paper and added some gems.

Thank you for taking the time to look.

Lavinia Stamps Challenge 3 - Add Something Pink

Hi this is my entry for the latest Lavinia Stamps Blog challenge.

I used a circle stencil to create the pink area in the middle, then using torn paper created the hillsides. Lastly, I added the fairy and flower stamps in the same colour.

In order to continue the scene in grey on the outside I used a mask to cover the pink.

I used the same torn paper to make the hills follow the same line and a mask for the clouds, also adding the other parts of the flowers.

Used glamour dust on the wings and the stars in the sky.

Finally mounted on a background of pink.

Thank you for looking, any comments gratefully received.

Clarity Challenge 12 - Love and Romance

I have used the stamp that came from the New Designs Club.
I stamped and clear embossed the heart and coloured it in using promarkers.
I drew a larger heart, but same shape, on paper and cut the centre out. Then I covered the heart with a mask, so that I could use the ray part from the arch stencil to put sunburst rays,  in a heart shape, around the stamp.
Finally, I used the cloud mask to put a cloudy sky in the background.

Thank you for looking.

Lavinia Stamps Challenge 2 - Blue or Lilac or Both

I bought a digi stamp for the first time so I thought I would have a go at using that.

This is the Zen Myah image from Lavinia, she suited these two colours well, and I coloured her in using promarkers.
Used Memento Lilac Posies and Adirondack Stonewashed to stamp the flowers and trailing leaves.
Added distress sticklers to some of the bubbles around the outside and put glossy accents over the beads around her.
Used a Sakura jelly roll pen in Stardust gold to add some dotty glitz to the trailing leaves.
